Froome receives a ham after having publically expressed on various occasions that this particular food is his “treat”

11th September 2017.- ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN has given a Legado Iberian ham to Chris Froome, winner of The Spanish Cycling Tour “La Vuelta” 2017, after having publically expressed on various occasions that it is his “treat” and one of the Spanish delicatessen meats that he likes most. The food company wanted to fulfil his wish by giving him one of their most emblematic products.

In addition, ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN gave Iberian hams to the Italian, Matteo Trentin, winner of four stages, including the 10th which was sponsored by the food company and Alberto Contador, who has retired from professional cycling after having been a legend in this sport.

With this gesture, ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN wanted to pay tribute to the leaders of the moment of international cycling, a sporting activity which it is firmly committed to, as the values of effort, companionship, overcoming difficulties, constancy and team work which characterise it are fully in line with the company’s philosophy.
