The ice skating show will tour Pamplona, Malaga, Murcia, Las Palmas in Gran Canaria and Madrid

ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN is the official sponsor of the new show, ‘Revolution on Ice’, by Javier Fernández, the best ice skater in Spanish history. The 2018 tour will call in the cities of Pamplona, Malaga, Murcia, Las Palmas in Gran Canaria and Madrid in November and December.
Javier Fernández is an ambassador for the ELPOZO BienStar brand, since the values the sportsman represents of sacrifice, discipline, commitment, effort, camaraderie and overcoming difficulties are perfectly in line with the company’s business philosophy.
‘Revolution Ice’ is the greatest ice skating and live music show in Spain and is aimed at all the family. Today the show, which will take place in Murcia on 21st December, was presented in the capital’s town hall with the presence of the Director of Communication and External Relations of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN, José Ángel Cerón, who highlighted “the commitment that the company has to support sport as a school of values coincides with the way in which we work at the very heart of our organisation”.
A clear example of this commitment is the sponsorship, for more than 25 years, of the indoor football club ElPozo Murcia, which has teams in all categories. With this long-running sponsorship it supports not only elite sport, but also encourages the youngest members of society to do sport.
In addition, the company supports the Spanish Paralympic Team in its race towards the next Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020; it is the official sponsor of the Spanish Cycling Tour “La Vuelta” and also the Women’s Race, the most important sporting event in Europe. It has sponsored the Spanish National Football Team and the Portuguese Indoor football team Os Belenenses, as well as others.
From the local point of view, the company backs the female synchronised swimming team from Alhama de Murcia, which competes nationally and is the official sponsor of the Motocross Championship trials in Spain and Europe which take place in the municipality. Since it was founded its workers sponsor the Villa de Alhama triathlon as well as the women’s.
European Sport and Healthy Company
ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN also encourages its more than 4,600 workers to do sport. This policy has helped it to be recognised as European Sport and Healthy Company 2018 making it the first European food company to get this award which is driven by ACES Europe and the International Organisation of Human Capital Directives DCH, from the European Parliament.
The company got this award thanks to the 5000 m2 of sporting space for the exclusive use of its workforce with a wide offer of activities including a gymnasium, padel and tennis courts and covered pavilion designed for indoor football and other sports such as table tennis. The company has invested 170,000 euros in these facilities over the last two years.
Javier Fernández
Spanish skater, world champion in 2015 and 2016, medal winner in the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, six times European champion and various times Spanish champion in the junior and veteran categories. He was one of the first skaters to include three steps of quadruple jumps in the free programme and two in the short programme.
