The leading food company has recreated the well-known TV programme inside its facilities, in a pioneering initiative for its employees to celebrate the importance of families

El Pozo Alimentación has held the “ElPozoChef Grand Finale Ceremony” in its facilities, an experience for employees inspired in the well-known, popular TV programme. The company wishes to use this event to celebrate the importance of families.

With this pioneering initiative for its staff, the company’s more than 5,500 workers, El Pozo Alimentación has wished to enjoy an event that has enabled it to stimulate family dynamics with lots of fun, bringing families together and making them feel like real, professional chefs, using the best recipes out of all those presented at a previous stage of the competition.
Eleven teams have taken pleasure in an event brimming with excitement, anticipation and gastronomy in “ElPozoChef Grand Finale Ceremony”. The families could be seen working together to prepare the best dish and win the prize, tickets to the MasterChef Junior camp and a dinner for four at an exclusive restaurant.
Just like in the television show, the participants had to make three recipes to surprise the jury. The competitors began each of the tests by choosing the ingredients they needed at the shop the company has within its facilities. The finalists could then prepare their recipes at the tables equipped for one hour and a half.
Chef Arnau Paris, winner of the 9th MasterChef, was master of ceremonies. Other members of the jury included the company’s brand ambassadors, who had a difficult time choosing the winners because of the extremely high level of those taking part.

This activity, alongside the open days when family members can visit El Pozo Alimentación’s facilities, is part of the “From Family to Family” programme. The company wishes to give family members the opportunity to see the values worked upon in the company, as well as its premises, history and products.

Corporate Human Resources director of Grupo Fuertes, María José Cánovas, affirmed that “we have seen many of the values of our work in this activity, such as passion, constant improvement, competitiveness, initiative and creativity. We have had loads of fun and all our challenges and objectives for this project have been met.
