The President of Grupo Fuertes, Tomás Fuertes, received the award from the hands of the chief executive of the Cante de las Minas Foundation, Pedro López Milán
ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN has received the Pencho Cros award for its strong support of the Cante de las Minas International Festival. Thanks to this support “the 58th year of the most important Flamenco event in the world has gone ahead with large participation and audiences” declared the mayor of La Unión after handing over the award to the company’s president Tomás Fuertes.
On receiving the award, Tomás Fuertes thanked them for this recognition and added that “as a citizen of the Region of Murcia it is of tremendous satisfaction to collaborate with festivals from this entity which spread the image of our community beyond our borders “. This initiative carried out by ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, aimed at the development and promotion of quality of life among people.

The ceremony took place during the deliberation of the I “Pascual García Mateos” Trovos Contest in which both Tomás Fuertes as well as Pedro López Milán were present. Afterwards, the attendees to the different cultural activities programmed could enjoy an exhibition of ham cutting offered by the food company at the ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN stand.
The evening finished with the attendance of Tomás Fuertes at the grand final of the 58th Edition of the Cante de las Minas International Festival where he awarded the Bordón Minero prize to the best guitarist from the most important Flamenco event in the world.
