ElPozo Alimentación is taking part in two important agro-food fairs, held in Japan and Mexico this week. The company is reinforcing as such its commercial presence in strategic geographical areas for exporting its products, Asia and Latin America.
ElPozo Alimentación’s sales abroad have increased by 30 per cent, reaching 187 million euros in 2016. The Company, now present in more than 80 countries, aims to continue to increase its export quota and consolidate its presence in areas with more potential for the company.
Foodex Japan is the most important agro-food meeting in the Asia-Pacific region including Oceania and the third world. Foodex Japan this year is in its 42nd edition, and in 2016 brought together a total of 3,200 exhibiting companies from 80 countries and 76,000 professional visitors. ElPozo Alimentación exports white and Iberian pork to Asia, as well as cured specialities and hams.
Expo ANTAD & Alimentaria Mexico
This business platform which is in its second year, brings together 3,500 exhibitors, the presentation of more than 660 new products and has a forecast turnover of 600 million euros.
México presents interesting business opportunities for ElPozo Alimentación, given that 10 per cent of its population, about 10 million consumers have considerable purchasing power.
