The Spanish ambassador and the commercial attaché in the country visit the company’s stand

ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN is taking part over the next few days in the most important commercial meeting for food and drink in the Asia-Pacific region to increase the position of its products on the continent. The company has received the visit from the Spanish ambassador accompanied by the commercial attaché, who were very satisfied with the company’s progress in this market.

More than 3000 exhibitors coming from 95 countries are taking part in Foodex 2019 and then forecasts indicate that it will be visited by more than 85,000 professionals.  This fair is a doorway to the Asian and Pacific growing market of Spanish agro-food products and drinks.

More specifically, Japan imports 60 per cent of the food it consumes, which means an economic sum of 40,000 million euros.

ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN aims to increase its export quota, mainly in the Asian markets, as consumers are more and more sophisticated and are interested in the gastronomy of other regions. More specifically, the Japanese consumer is very curious to try new products and associates food and drink imported from Europe with quality.  Japan is a commercial destination where its maxims are: taking care of the details, service excellence and exigence.

ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN exports white and Iberian pork to Asia, as well as cured specialities and hams. The ELPOZO brand is present in more than 80 countries on a worldwide scale, and its objective is to continue opening markets and consolidate those in which it is currently present.
