ELPOZO’s brand ambassador, the tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, visits the company’s headquarters in Alhama de Murcia

As well as getting to know its production system, he greeted some of the 5,800 workers who form part of the leading food company

The Murcian tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, who is the youngest to become the world number one tennis player, and who is currently ranked second in the ATP ranking, has visited the headquarters of ElPozo Alimentación’s facilities to get to know first-hand both its production system and some of its more than 5,800 workers.

Carlos Alcaraz, who was accompanied by his father, has been the ELPOZO brand ambassador since 2022, because he embodies principles that fully concur with the business philosophy of the food company, which this year celebrates 70 years of history. In tennis, Alcaraz has won two Grand Slams, 12 ATP tournaments and four Challenger tournaments.

For ElPozo Alimentación, sport represents values that are in line with its mission and vision, such as dedication, passion, hard work, innovation, humility, excellence, integrity, courage, intelligence and heart.

Alcaraz remarked during the tour of the premises that “he feels grateful for the collaboration received from the company and that he considers himself to be another member of the ELPOZO family”. For his part, the president of the company Tomás Fuertes remarked that “Carlos and ELPOZO form a team whose main bond is the obsession for continuous improvement”.
