ElPozo Alimentación, with its BienStar brand, repeats for the second year in a row as official collaborator of the Women’s Race. This year the race covers eight Spanish cities and kicks off next Sunday, 9th April, in Valencia.
The Valencian test has 16,000 runners and a route of 7.4 kilometres starting in the Avenida del Puerto and finishing in the Paseo Neptuno, opposite the sea. The Women’s Race is the most important sporting event in Europe given that it is planned that this edition brings together more than 121,000 participants in the cities of Valencia, Madrid, Vitoria, Gijón, La Coruña, Sevilla, Zaragoza and Barcelona.

In addition, ElPozo BienStar is taking part in Sport Woman, the Women, Sport and Health Fair held in the pavilion 6 bis in the Valencia Fair, this Friday and Saturday 7th and 8th April. Furthermore, the runners’ bags include an informative leaflet which explains the keys to an appropriate diet and gives examples of diet for the day of the race.
There will also be two dietician-nutritionists on the stand who will measure the body composition of visitors and advise them on how to adopt healthy lifestyle and eating habits. The stand will have a photo booth to give printed photos to all participants, which will also be sent with the hashtag #actitudBienStar to be shared on social networks, as well as receiving presents from the brand.
The main objective of the Women’s Race is to raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer, promoting healthy lifestyle habits such as doing exercise and following a balanced diet.
A diet rich in food with a high content of vitamins and antioxidant minerals, low in saturated fats and doing physical exercise daily contribute to cancer prevention. In addition, ElPozo BienStar products have a high protein content which favours the increase and conservation of muscle mass, beneficial for physical exercise.
