The company has also been recognised as the FMCG brand showing the strongest growth over the past year
ElPozo has once again been recognised as the brand with the highest household penetration in Spain, a position it has maintained for eleven consecutive years. Present in 73.2% of Spanish households, ElPozo remains the only brand to maintain such high market penetration over time, underscoring the strength of its position in the domestic market.
The brand has also been recognised as the fastest-growing FMCG brand, according to the 2026 edition of the Brand Footprint report by Worldpanel by Numerator, the benchmark study based on actual consumer purchasing behaviour. ElPozo recorded more than 112 million CRPs during the year, ranking second only to Coca-Cola.
The brand’s leadership extends across much of Spain, where it is the most frequently chosen FMCG brand in seven autonomous communities: Galicia, Extremadura, Andalusia, the Valencian Community, the Region of Murcia, Castilla-La Mancha and the Canary Islands.
The Brand Footprint 2026 report analyses the 50 most purchased FMCG brands in Spain. ElPozo is one of only four brands to have achieved simultaneous growth across the three indicators analysed in the report: consumer contacts, household penetration and purchase frequency.
ElPozo Alimentación remains firmly committed to meeting consumers, with a strong focus on innovation and on delivering a value proposition that is increasingly aligned with real market needs. In this regard, ElPozo continues to strengthen its commitment to healthy eating with products such as Bienstar +Proteínas turkey and chicken breast, as well as its ElPozo 1954 No Additives range, which includes 100% natural turkey breast, chicken breast and cooked ham. These products were recently recognised with the 2026 Flavour of the Year seal and the Promarca InnovaCción Award.
In doing so, the company promotes offerings that combine quality, nutrition and convenience, anticipating emerging consumer trends and contributing to a balanced diet suited to contemporary lifestyles.
