The event will take place from June 29 to July 3 at the “José Kubala” municipal stadium, with the support of Alhama de Murcia Town Council and El Pozo Alimentación

The Real Madrid Foundation has officially unveiled its summer campus in Alhama de Murcia, bringing the initiative to the municipality for the first time. The programme is aimed at more than one hundred young participants and is supported by Alhama de Murcia Town Council and El Pozo Alimentación, reinforcing a shared commitment to sport and education.

The presentation event was attended by the Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Rosa Sánchez; the Head of Institutional Relations at the Real Madrid Foundation, Félix González; the Communication Director of El Pozo Alimentación, José Ángel Cerón; and the company’s Marketing Director, Pablo Olivares. All speakers highlighted the importance of bringing educational sports training to local communities and facilitating access for young people to this type of initiative.

The campus will be held from June 29 to July 3 at the “José Kubala” municipal stadium and is designed to offer children a formative experience based on the Real Madrid Foundation’s methodology, which combines football training with the promotion of values such as respect, teamwork, motivation, and autonomy.

Campus Experience is a project developed by the Real Madrid Foundation that gives participants the opportunity to spend a week in a team environment, discovering and sharing the programme’s core values. The initiative has been running for more than 15 years during the summer period and is aimed at children aged between 7 and 15.

During the presentation, Mayor Rosa Sánchez underlined the significance of the project for the municipality, noting that “the arrival of this campus allows the children of Alhama to access the training methods and values of one of the best clubs in the world”, in line with the local strategy to promote grassroots sport.

She also expressed her gratitude for the collaboration of El Pozo Alimentación, emphasising that “when institutions and companies work together, the results directly benefit the health, education, and wellbeing of young people”.

Furthermore, she announced that the Town Council will undertake “a virtually comprehensive transformation of the facilities”, including expansion works with two new five-a-side and seven-a-side football pitches, in response to the growing popularity of the sport in the municipality.

For his part, Félix González stressed the educational nature of the programme: “Through these campuses, we aim for participants to enjoy football while living an experience that helps them grow as individuals, learning values that will stay with them throughout their lives”.

From El Pozo Alimentación, Pablo Olivares highlighted the company’s commitment to initiatives of this kind: “We are particularly excited about this important project, which represents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of healthy habits among young people through sport. This initiative reflects values that are an essential part of our daily work and which, through this collaboration, we can continue to promote among new generations”.

Thanks to the cooperation between institutions and organisations such as the Real Madrid Foundation and El Pozo Alimentación, Alhama de Murcia is adding a proposal that brings together sport, education, and social commitment, offering participants an enriching summer experience.
