El Pozo remains the most popular brand in Spanish households for the fifth year running

76.8% of Spanish households purchase El Pozo products, according to Kantar Worldpanel’s ‘Brand Footprint’ ranking.

ElPozo is the once again the most popular brand in Spanish households, now for the fifth year running, as the consultancy firm Kantar Worldpanel confirms. According to their ‘Brand Footprint’ ranking, which is the largest consumer brand study based on real purchases over the past year, 76.8% of Spanish household purchase ELPOZO products. In other words, it is the favourite brand for eight out of ten families.

The Spanish food company is ahead of Coca-Cola, found in 74,5% of households in our country. In addition, ELPOZO is the top consumer brand in the Regions of Murcia, Andalusia, the Canary Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Navarra, the latter representing a new autonomous community in which these products are so popular this year. The food company is therefore the leader in six autonomous communities in Spain.

The ‘Brand Footprint 2020’ study identifies the 50 leading consumer brands which have been purchased the most in Spain and worldwide. This study, which reflects purchases made by households, is based on instances of contact with consumers, in turn based on the number of buyers of a brand and the frequency that these buyers acquire the products.
