The foundation celebrated its III Awards Gala with the aim of recognising all those agents whose actions help every day to make more people more active, more of the time. These actions are in line with the foundation’s mission to promote sport and physical activity as a way of improving people’s health and well-being.

The food company is adding female-only sports projects to the list of schemes it supports, with the objective of helping women to achieve their rightful position and to achieve increasingly higher positions in terms of social impact. It is collaborating with various projects including the sponsorship of Alhama Women’s Football Club eLPOZO, the only club in Murcia to play in the Reto Iberdrola. It also sponsors the Madrid Challenge, the elite women’s professional two-day road bicycle race; Alhama de Murcia synchronised swimming team, who compete on a national level; Carrera de La Mujer, the largest women’s sporting event in Europe; and, this year, it promoted the Corrida Sempre Mulher in Lisbon, a gathering of over 10,000 female runners running in support of the fight against cancer.
